Mixed. No lightening though. Rained more than just drops for the first hour. Then just a drizzle.

 

Hard to get traction on the rocky climbs. Back wheel spins out. Lots of muddy patches. Fun but not fast at all. Fell off many times while climbing.

 

Also, I personally had a nightmare. Sliced my tubeless at the back. And then punctured my replacement tube. And the next and last tube was faulty. Leaked.

 

So became a trail run.

Turnout wasn’t great. But I would put it down to the weather. Maybe 25 people for the 45km , I would guess +-

 

Not sure about the 25km. I’m sure more.

Good decision I think.

 

My buddy hurt himself. Was really not the best idea to ride there today. I could have given it a skip.

Did the 25km run there on sat, Sunday I woke up saw the rain and thought it would be risky riding that tech in those conditions. I know of a run not far from there was also cancelled due to localized flooding...
