Bonus Posted July 29, 2022 Share There was a week or so that was incredible hot - 38 & 39 degrees. The heat coming up from the runways and taxiways was exhausting. Twice we worked all day, saw the sun set and then saw it rise again the next day! 21hr shifts - because there was a lot of stuff we had to do between the last plane coming in on the evening before the airshow and the next morning when the doors opened. Then again the moment the doors closed on Sunday evening we worked all night so that planes could leave early the next day. Tough work but very rewarding and with a great bunch of people. Spokey Posted August 5, 2022 Share Not posted for a while, we arrived in Copenhagen a few days ago. Wandering the streets today I came across this two seater drone thingy. Eight electric motors and 8 propellers, counter rotating. Only 35 mins endurance as of now but I expect it will get better as technology evolves. Still undecided as to whether I would have a go or not! No price tag. Edited August 5, 2022 by Spokey Errrrr…….finger trouble, spelling! I'm a bit sceptical, not so much of the drone technology but rather us humans Despite current tech we cannot control or stop motorists from killing themselves and other motorists on the roads everyday, can you imagine the chaos if these things ever become readily available to the general public? 8 propellers.... wonder what the life limit / TBO will be 😁 DJR and RoddieJ
