My BMW key was just short of 4500 if i remember correctly.

How can one be a cyclists and a BMW driver at the same time? One makes you by deafult an ass, the other makes you by default awesome.

 

Now I don't know what to think of you.

Not entirely on topic, but car manufacturers in New Zealand have been busted for the 'replacement key' scam. The truth is that a key should cost you around R300-R500, but up to maybe R2000. There is a company in the States seems reputable that can ship me the key for R220 (all in). Then just need to get manufacturer to code/programme it

And they'll charge you R8k to do that probably at a few thousand ZAR's per hour while someone sits on hold to Germany...
