Garmin Training Status

Calling on all Garmin GURUs, I use an Edge 810 with a Power meter and heart rate belt, but I can not see the zones or the times I have been in the respective zones, is there a setting I am missing of is the 810 not capable? My forerunner 235 also only give me the Aeraobic effect, is this also a Premium function?

Did you set up your User Setting and HR, resting and Max in device settings via Garmin connect, so that garmin knows your HR zones?

Yes, it works for my FR235 but not for the edge, this for a RUN

No, I mean the part where it tells you your load, VO2 Max and current status like unproductive, productive, maintaining etc

 

 

Ok this is a subset of the condition indicator. I still tend to ignore it. The VO2max is a calculated value and relates to how more time you have spent in the VO2max zone. Garmin tells me my VO2max is 57 but it measures closer to 70.

the numbers are only relative to what they in the units memory prior to your workout. I.e. the numbers only tell you whether you are getting fitter or tired. Hence, i say you can feel this before it tells you something meaningful. I treat it as a gimick

i know but I do not get the zones like i get when I record with my FR235 according to the Garmin forums it is device specific and the 810 does not give it.

Devices that support “time in zone” are as follows:

 

NOTE: Garmin Connect will only display up to 5 zones for heart rate and up to 7 zones for power
