When did this occur? I missed that one. I drove up the R27 to Melkbos on Sunday, and again realised that despite the enormous verge, I would not ride that road. I ride up Otto du Plessis to Koeberg / Duynefontein when I go up that way.

Felt like it happened within the last 6 months or end of last year.

Happened rather early, around 6am if I recall. Big double cab bakkie, etc.

Think 2 guys were knocked down in the group.

I suppose it's much better dragging it on for months through our amazing justice system, rather let the driver of the car loose sleep over all the *** she's going to witness riding in the ambulance.

Yeah it was recent. IICR summer time because the driver was in shorts and t shirt and all the riders were in summer kit.

I remember the one where the oke got knocked close to Melkbos, and got taken to hospital with people trying to identify him. This was also in the summer. Apparently, he had severe head injuries iirc. Only reason I recall, is because earlier that same day I saw a oke on his bike come ride past me at the traffic lights without a lid on his head, and his bike looked very much like the one I saw in the pics posted here. I still recall thinking this oke is looking for kuk if he gets knocked.
