Thanks, we going the last weekend of June. Got the entries / passes and all. Cheers.

Are you doing the Passports race? There's a race village set up generally in Morz or Les Gets. You might get a special or 2 there.

Some details on your trip? C'mon man we need deeeetails.

You want to ride with a pack. You are using the lifts to get altitude so you can go a bit bigger when it comes to protection. Get one with a built in back protector for extra security. I have one of those evov ones. Kuk expensive. I think Camelbak make a few too. You do go to places where you are far from civilization so you want a spare tube etc. You'll take a light windbreaker that can fit in to the pack. It gets cold when you go high. Even in summer. I have a super light ciovita one and a more robust one for the days I know it's going to rain or I'm going to Switzerland.

Carry your insurance details in the pack. Just in case something goes wrong.

Thanks! Will look into, currently have the Camelbak Mule MV but it's an older guy, quick search on the worldwide shows that it doesn't have a back protector

Seriously though, it is the http://en.passportesdusoleil.com/

Rented a Devinci Spartan!! Don't think you can go wrong with a bike called that.

Thanks for the all the advice from all above, great appreciated.

NICE!!!! I've been there during passportes. Never done the race. It's always festive. Keep your eyes peeled for a legend. I've got a fanboy pic with Fabien Barel and ACC stayed in the house next door to us the one year.

The cool thing about passportes weekend is the lifts stay open super late. The kuk thing is the trails get wrecked.
