dirtypot Posted April 5, 2019 Share Hello Dirtypot Du Toit's Kloof, Paarl side.700m elevation, 12 and half times. Have you used the Everesting Calculator to get a gauge of how long it'll take you? How long does it normally take to get up there for you? Are you not concerned with it being quite a busy road? Everesting Calculator - https://everesting.io/The segment link which you'll need to add into the calculator - www.strava.com/segments/1882047 Here's a pic with average sort of figures - you can adjust the sliders to suit your speed. Take all of this with a pinch of salt, but it does give a bit of an indication. For my everest, it said we'd be done in around 14/15 hours but it took 22hrs in total. The calculator doesn't take a howling south easter into account, nor stopping for meals (not that you can really eat anything, but that's a different story...). CatzSpace "frail" Posted April 5, 2019 Share Hello DirtypotI have had a look at my ride Data on Strava. The Elevation is around 415m.My average time up has been 1hour.I will need to do 22 times up.All eating will be easy foods, nothing heavy on the system. No stopping.I have chosen Baines Kloof over the other Hills for the height and the road is wider.
