ChrisF Posted April 17, 2019 Share Event Name: Weekend Warrior GrabouwWhen: 11 May 2019 - 12 May 2019Where: Grabouw, Western CapeCategory: MTB The very popular Tru-Cape Grabouw MTB has evolved into the Weekend Warrior Grabouw sponsored by Tru-Cape. What was a single day race is now a wonderful 2 day stage race. The Tru-Cape Grabouw MTB Race has, for many years, been a fund raising initiative for the local Grabouw High School. In 2019, we are carrying on this trend and all proceeds raised will be going back to Grabouw High School. The school has done some fantastic work with the money raised in the past, from making rugby fields to refurbishing older class rooms. Herholdt, the headmaster, has some amazing plans to use the funds raised to increase the quality of learning at Grabouw High School. QUICK LINKSFAQEnter HereTrail Run You will still get to enjoy the popular and challenging routes around the Grabouw Country Club but now you get the opportunity to enjoy it over two days and stay over in a Red Cherry 3-man tent set up specially for you. What happens if you don’t want to ride both days and take part in the stage race? Well, the extra good news is you can also still enter as a day rider either for the Saturday or Sunday. We are also letting scholar riders represent their school. It’s more than just the ride or run as we build our entire race village with allocated camping sites, a Chill Zone, Live Music, Hot showers, Flush Toilets and plenty of Food options. And to ensure we cater for all – there’s a Trail Run on Saturday morning tooGo to Event Page

dev null Posted April 20, 2019 Share Is there a option to do only 1 day Yes. You don't have to do the stayover, and you can do any of the distances on both days, or only one of the two days. We are planning the 50km on the Saturday afternoon and the 25km on the Sunday morning. Edited April 20, 2019 by Moridin ChrisF
ChrisF Posted April 20, 2019 Share The "weekend package" is not an option for us, since Maritz already has something on for the one day. We are planning to attend the other day ....
