SunRace 12 speed groupset

Does anybody have any experience with the SunRace 12 speed groupset. Any link to long term reviews? I have used SunRace casettes in the past and they perform well. 

Any input please.

Im using one now, about 200km on it and no issues at all so far, Shifting is smooth and effortless, even in the mud

Just put one on my wife's bike and all good so far. Been riding their 11 sp for a while and am loving it

Shifter get stuck most of the times and does not change to the 11 tooth easily. Chain line correct, B-screw correct and high stopper all the way out and still battling to go into the 11. New outer and SS gear cable and still same problem. All the other gears as smooth as butter. Heard that their rear derailleur (10/11/12sp) got problems.

Got my LBS to build me a bike with one on, and they battled until they lengthened the chain and then all was/is well Perhaps you have the same issue?

Busy with an 11 speed upgrade.

 

Mark recommended the following :

 

- Shimano XT long cage derailure

- make chain as long as possible !

XT derailleur works like a charm with my Sunrace 11sp. Am running 11/46 but would think 11/50 should also be fine

I have a sram nx derailleur paired to sunrace 11-50 casette, works perfect

Problem solved. Bought a derailleur hanger extender from Dominic at Summit Bikes for R100.00.

Now running a 10 speed XT rear derailleur (long cage) with a 12 speed Sunrace shifter and 11-50 Sunrace 12 speed cassette with absolute no problems.
