If they can get permission to ys the gravel road on other side of Theewaterskloof then they only need a few farmers' permission to have a mostly gravel route from Franschhoek pass to Vyeboom, Van der Stel pass to Botrivier, Karwyderskraal to Hemel en Aarde and then drop into Hermanus.

Now that I think of it,2006 epic day7 was the reverse of my route above, 140km with Groenlandberg, so I reckon it'll go from Botrivier to Caledon to Hermanus. Plenty gravel road options there.

If i have to guess : Franschoek pass> Van der stel pass to Botrivier . From Botrivier Hotel railway service road to Caledon. Klipheuwel road > Waboomskloof road> over private roads to the R320 at Shaws pass. Tesselaarsdal road loop around the mountain back to Shaws Pass via Solitaire rd. Hemel en Aarde rd to Die Bos dam> Karwyderskraal to Benuela Cove. 160 km basically on the dot.

I see that they increased their social media presence. But the website sit lacking a lot of information.

 

I am looking for something to motivate me to train in this time.
