Decline in vo2max or CP/FTP when injured?

I am looking for a model for the decay of vo2max or CP/FTP over time when unable to ride. Even better would be a model that used TSS over time to do the same for the "reducing training but still riding" case. But I will settle for the first option.

Can anyone point me at something?

I have found posts describing what happens after 3 days, 2 weeks etc. but not an actual curve.

As you might guess I need this for some stuff I am busy with in Intervals.icu.

I'm not sure what you're looking for, is it data ? I got injured on the 25th of jan, didn't do anything for a full week, been on the trainer 5 days a week since then, got loads of data if you need, unfortunately most of it from after the injury as I was mostly riding outside without a powermeter before the injury, but I still had a few activities on the trainer then...

I was hoping to find a paper where someone had tried to model this mathematically. Interested in how things drop off to try turn the decay of Intervals.icu eFTP.

I've not seen this thread before, and when I saw the title in the 'Latest Posts' section, I thought this guy should chat to David Tinker.  :w00t:  :w00t:
