I've been running Nextie ultralight's for almost a year and have nothing but compliments for them.  I ride them through anything and don't worry about them.  Nice and light too.

Jussie !! so much to choose from and Eish !! not going to be a cheap exorcise - So for my type of riding mainly trail / marathon & stage events what should i be looking for as far as dimensions go.

I'm planning to use HOPE PRO4 hubs 32 hole Rear will be boost if i can get XD drive at a reasonable price - If not i'll be sticking to my PRO2

Front tire = MAXXIS IKON 2.35

Rear tire = MAXXIS IKON 2.20

23mm to 28mm internal width is good for Marathon. Wider and it starts to square the tyres off so they become very sensitive to tyre pressure IME

I have been lucky enough to run with a 30mm ID rim and a 25mm ID rim, both with the same tires  (Vittoria Saguaro 2.2" front and rear).

The 25mm are great for racing, lighter weight wheel set and feel very stiff and nimble when changing direction. I run the tires at 1.6 bar and weigh 85kg.

The 30mm ID rims give a lot more confidence on downhills and are a more comfortable ride, ideal for events like race to the sun as they soak up the vibrations in the road. i run these softer at 1.4-1.5 bar. They a little heavier and not as quick to respond but comfort wise they in a class of their own.

Which MTB sets did you order from them ?

Assymetric Rim 30mm=ID  36mm=OD height= 24mm

DT Swiss 350 hubs

Bladed spokes.

I emailed them and they sent me a quote. But if you look around on their site you will see those option availeble.

Then I got 45mm Dimpled, road rims with novatec hubs
