On the list of bad ideas, disc brakes on a kids bike is at the top. Such a good way to lose fingers.

Really?

Vees can't be the best option

These bikes are dangerous, our first visit to emergency services on a night out for mommy.

My present to him for his first birthday, a helmet.

Best buy! I see Uvex does nice kids helmets.

We bought him a trike very early, since every evening the family and all of our dogs go for a walk.

The Trike V1 was repossessed and is still going in the hands of the vendor at a corner shop.

We got Trike V2.0 with sealant in the tires,we can go anywhere.

We got a Ybike for our boy, the Ybike is still to big for him to use, but just right for me and him to chase around in the house.

For his second birthday, he got a Muna balance bike.

He is a only child and the learning curve is slow, so currently he sits and gets pushed along, but hopefully soon.

For family rides to the coffee shop we make use of a Feva seat. Remember to up your air pressure in your shock, it made a difference. I have wrapped my handlebar with tape for comfort, longest ride we did is 10km out and back.

As you can see some custom decals because he loves his milk.

Finally gave my lockdown balance bike project a go. Limited to what I had in the garage, so ended up as more of a prototype of sorts.

Just need a longer rear axle and bar plugs so I don't core-sample my kid.
