Vittori and Vittori Cape Cobra

Hi guys

 

Anyone know what the difference is, see Cycle Lab now stock a Vittori <product range> and a Vittori Cape Cobra (with SA flag) <product range> set of tyres.

The Cape Cobra variants have a tougher casing developed by Vittoria for the Epic and are imported and supported by the local distributor, the others are the standard casing and are parallel imports.

There’s no weight different between the standard G3 compound and the cape cobra. I suspect they’re actually the same thing (tyre) but with a means of controlling where stock is originating from.

The cape cobra is also heavily discounted at the moment to discourage purchase of the standard version (possibly because these are mostly parallel imports)

ye, confirmed this also this afternoon, tougher side walls, as per packaging, Graphene inpregnated side walls, on a tyre which I found the side walls was good already.
