Ineos and Jumbo both replaced their wheels with more exotic ligther versions than the shimano. Adam...he is still on his shimano with different depths front and back. Would the deeper wheel at the back help with his descending considering his size and weight?

These bikes are already at the weight limit, so these kinds of changes must be for other reasons than just weight savings. Where you have the weight should not have a massive effect on how fast you can climb, GCN explained it in a recent video.

More rotating mass means more gyroscopic effect keeping things stable, but makes it a bit more difficult to make the bike turn in. MotoGP bikes experience this to a much larger extent, but these guys must surely also look at those types of things to gain advantages in the descents.

I posted a link earlier this week on why Jumbo-Visma were using unbranded wheels. Here’s the link, again.

Video explaining the various inertial forces at play in MotoGP.

Some of this is probably also, at play within cycling, but to a lesser extent.

BORA all together at the front... Will they bring some heat again? Or just ensure the correct breakaway composition?

Sags will want to get up the road [emoji1696]

Quote of the day yesterday from stage winner Nans Peters:

"I knew [ilnur] Zakarin was stronger than me up the climbs but I never gave up. I convinced myself to not crack. I had seen in the downhill of Port de Balès that he descended like a goat so I was confident to beat him in the finale of the stage."

..Ilnur "the goat" Zakarian ????

I sometimes wonder if he does as well [emoji23]

Yeah, it's always been his downfall, I do wonder what his results would've been like if he'd managed to improve his descending.
