Not sure about complaining but he wasn't to happy with how his sprint went. Apparently he got unclipped during the sprint. This from to the interview with him on Eurosport. Maybe he is upset at not having a chance to contest for the win and salvage DQS's day along with it.

Why was JA complaining?

Just expressing himself. Frustrated at accidentally unclipping during the sprint. His all arms and legs flailing when at full tilt, so no surprises that he lost one of his contact points.

He mos races on pure passion.

They made it with 5min to spare according to Gerrans

I saw them coming in at about 500m to go then can’t remember what happened after that... #distractions

Finished 13th.. don't know exactly how far from the finish is happened.. what n pity.. although I thought he was a bit far back and had some traffic to contest for the win.. but dammit not collecting more points is the big pity.

Is French and wants to win. Very spirited competitor yet comes across as being a gentleman (with a good sense of humour) off the bike. Nothing bland about him. Likeable in the Tom Boonen, Peter Sagan kinda way.

How about that stage.. what a day.. glad I could watch it from start to finish

Pity I missed the first hour of racing, but the last 2.5 I did was the best so far of the Tour.

Professional road cycling is a team sport. Many do not realise this. Now add the sun, the wind, gradients, race craft, technical risks, long-term plans, short-term strategies, screaming sport directors and rivals becoming allies until the finalé before they turn on each for glory.

Beautiful racing.

Bring on the Pyrenees!

Some would protest the team aspect of it. It's when you start looking at the minutiae you'll soon realise that the individual results are, the greater majority of the time, a direct result of the effort of all the riders not just the winning individual. It's a pity that some never seem to pick up on this.

Beautiful racing indeed.
