Bateleur1 Posted February 27, 2020 Share Good DayThis was my husband, Pierre Malan who had a heart attack.Thank you to his brother for starting the CPR and the Doctor that was on holiday who assistedAs well as the fantastic team of paramedics. He was definitely surrounded by a team of angels that day.It has been a scary two weeks, but I am happy to say he is looking better each day and hopefully will be back in the saddle in the near future. To all who assisted - from the bottom of my heartThank youNikki Malan What a first post! I am glad to hear he is doing well. I wish you as a family good luck and hope he makes a good recovery. splat Posted May 27, 2020 Share I saw another cyclist went down in Camps Bay today.I hope everyone is ok. I saw that too - lots of people helping him (and holding his head still).Paramedics arrived just after we passed the scene. I hope it wasn't anything serious and a full recovery is made. Bonus Posted May 31, 2020 Share Probably the main reason I haven't ventured out yet.Having ended up at emergency twice before, it's the last place I want to be right now.Hope alls ok. The reason given for us being stopped from cycling during lockdown was that they didn't need anyone ending up in A&E :-(
