Get some skate shoes, they can handle any aggressive pedal, just try get them on sale because they are quite pricey these days.

With my Shimano XT Flats I found any skate shoes do the trick. Vans, Nike, Adidas all worked perfectly well.

There are a big difference in the pins that are in the different pedals. Stamps are pretty decent, I've got some DMR V12s that I've smashed about 50% of the pin out of and the rest have been nicely blunted by rocks etc. So if you want them I'll see if I can find them. Else if you have removable pins then couldn't you just heat to Bolt-it or similar and get some shorter / more rounded?
