Ja, the ID thing was the distract I think.

I reported the incident to a less than enthusiastic Rosebank police. I was basically told that I have no hope.

We wanted to view the bank's cctv footage, but was told that it's not allowed due to privacy and security. FNB said to open a case at the police as they have to request a viewing of said footage.

It get's better though. I discovered that I still had the piece of paper that the guy gave me to writ emy ID number on. It is a bank deposit receipt for a deposit made at Balfour Park FNB with the title, name and surname of the recipiant and a reference noted as SAM....

I'm thinking that this might link this Samual chap to the person who received the deposit and also provides another source of footage as this was an over the counter deposit...

The police still did'nt sound too enthusiastic. Apparently they have to apply to the magistrate's court to be able to view the CCTV footage and the inspector working on my case said that they might not grant permission.

With regards to a trap. I was thinking the same thing. But I think that maybe it's a bad idea since I have all this supressed rage. Things might just get ugly.

I had the same type of experiance two weeks ago, whilst at the race at Rooiwal someone stole my wifes BRAND NEW E65, which I had bought as a present, as well as my Nokia 6280.

All the steps were taken to blacklist.  Then came the cracker, when she phoned first 4 Women to make her claim, they said that they would not pay out the claim as there was no forced entry( WTF) how do you prove forced entry into a handbag.

If I get the one who stole Tweety's phones I will bliksem him or them.  That phone has sentimental value and of course a R4000 price tag.

Boet if I catch you or find out where or who you are, I will hurt you so bad, you mother will have tummy acheAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry
