Romoss Sense 6+. Absolute powerhouse. Charges everything without sweat including a Macbook if you're in a pinch. It was the only one that worked to charge a Canon EOS RP and Fuji XT3.

Which model do you have?

I now have the 30 000mAH one (brick) and have had a 15 000mAH in the past and both switch off after about a minute. They are great and I charge them via dynamo to charge my Extreme battery, but they would not run the light in question.

Aha. I have the 20000mAH one and I really thought it would be able to drive a light since it can charge a laptop.

Good to know.

So we still don’t know which Power bank will work with this light? ☹️

I also called Evo Bikes today, the guys I bought the light from, and there response is “ it will work with any power bank”

I have this power bank and bike mount for my GoPro. Works like a charm, allowing me up to 3 hours of battery life on a ride. The Red-E power bank is a 4000mAh one

Where did you purchase that powebank? I like that setup. I take it that it hooks up without issues to your gopro and nothing comes undone on fast descents?

That’s a good idea! How many mah should I get to last around 3 hours at least?

I would guess around 6000 should do the trick. I think the extreme lights batteries are 6400, and depending on the level of brightness of your light, can last between 1-6 hours I guess.

I have one of these that I carry as a backup light on long bikepacking trips. Interestingly, some powerbanks run them and others don't. It is a bit of trial and error to find one that does the job. My wife has an Apple powerbank that definately works. My Romoss powerbank does not run it. Something to do with the allowed resistance apparently??? I would take it to a powerbank shop and try the various options out if I were you. They all work for about a minute and then some switch off, so when you test them, give it a couple of minutes each.

The problem here probably relates to the auto off function on powerbanks. This works off current flow, and since the LED bike lights have a very low current, the powerbank probably perceives that the device 'connected' is charged, and shuts off. This is more likely to happen on the bigger powerbanks, as a single charge in a 20/30 000 powerbank can do a number of cell phone charges, and thus needs to shut down as the 'connected' device will be charged before the powerbank is depleted.

I received the power bank as a gift, but got the bike mount from Cape Union Mart. Omnico, IIRC are the importers.
