Only need one, but 2 makes the transportation of 4 family bikes easier.

Which Proride?

The 591

I have a 591 and 598 on my car, personally no considerable difference.

598 has the angle mounted wheel strap, seems to ground bike wheels abit better.

The main clamp onto frame has the torque limiter to prevent over tightening, great if you have carbon frames but definitely not a must have.

I had thule free ride before, was just as good and sturdy too at much less of a price tag

To feed back... ended up taking a grinder to the standard Thule "bolts" in order to get them into the various rails..

Properly secure, and looks the business!

How do you get it up there?

I don't have a canopy and have my racks just above my load bed and low trees, certain underground parking lots are NO GO. Even my own garage!!!!! I have to fit and remove with the bakkie out the garage.
