Hi

I find the wrist HR on the Garmin 935 seems to struggle to give me a good reading then MTBiking, Must be all the shaking around .... Often when I'm really pushing it my heart rate is sitting at 115bm , which I know is not correct.

Want to try a Chest belt and pair it . I have tried pairing a Polar smart Bluetooth belt and it connects ...but does not show any heart rate (does when I pair it to my Iphone, so its not the belt)

Can anyone tell me what would be the most reliable belt to pair with the 935 ?

Thanks all

For the HR off the wrist you may have a crack in the HR sensor , I had that and a few friends, if within warranty period garmin was fantastic and replaced the unit.

Straps, the standard garmin straps will work best with garmin.

I got the Wahoo strap and it didn’t want to work with the garmin 935 but that was a while ago so they could have changed the workings a little to pair and work ????

Thanks, will give the Garmin strap a go ... had a look and all seems to be intact on the back , so no crack ... will see how it goes, thanks

Wahoo TICKR X works 100%.

edit: worked on my 935, now works on my 945 very well. Just not convinced the BT works so well. ANT+ all the way.

edit edit: BT works well, tried it on my laptop with native BT for Zwift.

I have had Polar H7 paired with my Garmin FR945 for the last year, it has been pretty faultless apart from not recognizing device and having to repair two or three times. My Polar H7 has lasted me 5 years of pretty heavy use now and 4 straps... Very impressed with it

My last Garmin strap lasted only 1 year so I decided to give the Wahoo Tickr a go. The Garmin straps wear and tear (no pun intended) way to easily and quickly in my opinion. Have had the Tickr for about 6 months and works perfectly with my Garmin Edge and Fenix. And Bluetooth works perfectly with laptop and ipad for zwift.
