I heard TODAY that SP Connect (very cool cellphone mounts) are bringing out a bracket in late Jan 2021 that will allow a SP Connect phone case OR a Garmin OR a light to be fitted to the SAME bracket, but not simultaneously...

 

not publicly announced yet, will try and post a link when I locate it...

Just thought I would revive this thread. 
 

this past week I decided to test how the batteries on my varia devices are performing. 
 

rear Varia RTL510 - I have had this device for 6 years and a bit. It has been used for about 10 000 miles and I estimate around 600 hours. On flashing mode it is still good for plus minus 6 hours. 
 

front UT800 - had it for just less than 6 years. On flashing mode after 6 hours of use it is still on around 40 percent battery left. Again it’s been used for around 550 hours or so. 
 

while they were expensive they been money well spent. ( in my experience)
