I'm also hopeful for the 300 - hoping the body follows suit!! There only 2 start times namely 4am & 5.15am, the later being the 250km. So I'm not sure about starting any other time than that

I'm in. Want to try for at least 300km...... Start 04h30?

Thanks for the pics, looks like a decent amount of cyclists on the day.

What distance did you get last year?

I'll be lining up for the 250.

Last year was a jol.

Last year it was only a 500.  No entry, ride for fun type thing.

I did 168km before I had to get home to do family stuff.

This year I have sportpas so the 250 is on the cards.  Depending on how hard the sun will chow us and how the body feels........

Not very keen on the whole "2 x 10km nutral laps" thing.........big part of that 10km lap is gravel.

I love my road bike too much

Not sure if the neutral laps are essential, as its only there for you to ride with the "pros" before they set off for the "dash for cash" loop.

Punctures before the main event on the gravel would really suck!!

Rules are a bit unclear on this issue.

So we'll see on Saturday.

But my preference would be not to do the dirt stuff.
