Superboost Wheels/Hubs...

Apologies if this has been asked previously but I'm looking for some info on Superboost wheels/hubs...

I am looking at an MTB frame upgrade and it has a Superboost rear... What are my options?

From Google I see that there is a "Problemsolvers" kit that will convert boost to superboost but costs around R1k to get here. Is there any local alternative?

Superboost hubs also seem extremely difficult to find locally.

I think I may have looked at that exact same frame and went a different way because of the superboost scarcity.

Hey man, I have a brand new Superboost hub never used. I ordered it last year for a bike I wanted to build but ended up building a different bike. It's a hope Pro 4.

I would not use an adaptor kit to go boost (148mm end cap to end cap) to superboost(157mm ec to ec)

The axle is much longer simply fitting thicker endscaps doesn;t not transfer the load from the frame through the axle appropriately. Bearing and even axel wear will be a problem if you ride often and hard enough.

Get the proper part.

Axle snappage. I've seen it.

 

You can get away with adapters on a front wheel, but not a rear.
