Has anyone found a simple (plug and play) cheap UPS solution for a Wahoo setup @ 12v 5A (60w) to keep thing going with Eskom doing the rounds?

For 12V you just need a Charged Battery.

To protect your equipment it would be best to use the full plug, so it requires AC.

A SOHO setup that can power small appliances for 2-3 hours will work well. Page 4 from the post by @shaper has a solution.

someone should reverse engineer one into a SA version black out edition and turn the flywheel into a KERS unit so the thing can power itself...you are already putting in the watts lol...might as well use them for something.

Kstar Model UA60 - I think I paid 800 ronds at a pc shop - have run my Kickr Core on it for 1hr 30 min works perfect.

Run ZWIFT or TR off tablet or Iphone via BT
