In the market for a new aero bike.

Currently looking at Bianchi aria, orbea orca and the new cabal aero 2.

Trying doing some research on the Cabal but csnt find anything in the form of a review.

Can anyone possibly tell me how the Cabal is?

The Cabal is an open mould design where the outward appearance may be similar to other frames from the same family of moulds but the layup differs. Best to contact Cabal bikes and ask if they can get  test ride for a weekend.

Otherwise you can't go wrong with the Bianchi or Orbea. The Bianchi Aria is more their entry level frame and it feels a little wooden compared to the Orca (which is almost top of the range machine)

The Cabal is well specced but to me I'd always look to find the best frame and upgrade the parts as they wear out

There were a few xr4 on the hub with rim brakes and campy groups at very appealing prices. The Aria is a bit heavy.

of all the aero bikes out there the Cabal must be the only one with non fully integrated cables. When I was on the market I tried to find info about it but it seems nobody has ridden it ever… I went for a Merida Reacto instead.

Hi Paul,

Have you had a look at the review in bicycling magazine? I have several customers who are over the moon with the Cabal and would be more than happy to have a chat.

Regards,

Jon

Agreed, of the three, Orca is possibly the most appealing. 👌

Then again, any new bike is appealing. 🙈

They definitely are beautiful bikes. its just the amount coming into the country is very limited..

Not quite.

I think there is a space in the market for them
