Great trails. Lots of climbing and a fair amount of technical sections on the longer route, but fun overall.

It's just up my road so I go there regularly. Definitely give it a try. The best part (IMO) is Mars Bars, 6.6km of flowing flatish single track.

Thanks. Took up the hobby a couple of months ago. Been frequenting The Red Barn in Centurion but in need a change of scenery and something a bit closer to home.

Great, I would avoid Murray's loop, it's quite technical towards then end and there is also a loop just after the top of the first big climb on your left that I would also avoid, other than that it's all rideable.

Worthwhile and the reservoir climb is quite hard and technical .Rest is great .Joberg people must use these trails .

Really great place to ride! Some long climbs too. Lots on offer in one place

 

Also think Mars Bars is great.

Was also a little concerned about this. 2 Google reviews indicate that their cars were broken into. I suppose that it could happen anywhere though.

As safe as parking can be in JHB

I have not heard of issues. There is a sign-in process, and a boom with a guard.

Agreed. I have even done it on our tandem with my wife as stoker.

Spoke to Murray the trail builder this morning and a bunch of stuff is sorted after the storm, lots of clearing and cleaning up done, 

Will go test it this weekend

Cool. I'll most like head out there tomorrow morning. Will be good to support the trails in the northern suburbs, see them grow and improve. 

The guys in Pretoria are seemingly spoilt for choice.
