Have a neglected  Bianchi Jab 7500 that i have repaired myself, only issue is the lockout on the shocks is no longer working

seals look brittle, looking to find someone who can repair this in jhb without being ripped off

Posted

reality is that is a very old bike

if it came with the basic recon the jab's typically came with then a simple bleed might sort it and some of the rebuild kits might then still fit that damper ( open bath / emulsion damper that is very reliable ) but you have to find someone to do this and if they have to end up using kits I would expect atleast 700 zars for the job

down to you if that's A ripoff or not

lock out is not needed to use a bike properly in the least

Fit ceramic wheel and bb bearings before telling me the lockout is why you are losing time.

If the spring and rebound works let the kid go crazy

What fork is on there? If it's a 30mm stanchion I can help, if it's a 28mm then the seals are no longer available so there's not much to be done aside from changing oil and replacing some internal o rings, which I can also do.

Rather save it than bin it if you can, landfills are full enough.

may be wrong but if you talking about shaft that goes through the seal, looks to be 32mm according to vernier
