I am going to do it with my eBike (yes, I know I am cheating). I never figured out the "automatically set the power to cover distance and vertical climb" feature. Anyone got a view on if the original factory Trail setting will be OK to do the full distance on one battery (500Wh)?

Cant say for sure as I have no clue what size the avarage ebike has in it..700? But none of the ebikes that were on the recce run for the full enduro last sunday ran out of juice. I think the one person mentioned at the top of the last stage that they had 6km range left…ofcourse that was way more than enough.  But it will depend on how much you use on the first climb i think…its a 6km ish climb, so be sensible with the juice on the first climb and you should be fine i would think.

26km / 1000m

That "should" be very easy with a 500Wh battery.

Racing up those hills at full boost could end in fun last climb .... 🙈

Mid to low boost, and riding with the others, and it wont be a problem.

Ja, at least I don't have that problem. My battery is probably going to croak on the climb to The Wall being that it's a 8ish km ascent and I'm the battery.

Hou bene, hou!

Yep. My goal is to be done sooner rather than later. I'm not really a summer person. I do winters easier than summers.

also curious who had the brain fart to arrange an Enduro in Paarl at the height of summer 🤣
