Courier Costs - George to Jhb

Hi everyone

Does anyone have a sense of what it should cost to courier a bike from George to Jhb? Want to get a sense of whether the quote I'm presented with is reasonable.

Hi, can vary but R800-R1k should be ballpark, paid R950 for Pta to Swellendam recently.

Check with triptych resources, last time I couriered a bike from JHB to CPT it was under R600

Not sure if there's a Cyclelab in your area but they charge R650 and that with them boxing it.

Triptych is the winner. Used to send a bike from CT to Springbok and sent to/from JHB and was the same price. About 610. So if they go to Springbok, they should have no issue collecting from George? 

Service is second to none.

If you pack it yourself about R480/550 if you let the okes pack looking at 870ish
