Hog_ Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Thanks for the extremely fast and efficient service!! I was looking around for new pedals, since my Smarties were in bucket-kicking territory. Shamus caught on in one of the threads and asked me to drop the pedals off at my LBS. Dropped them off on Tuesday afternoon, and just picked up a brand-spanking-new set! I didn't even consider a warranty claim, since the Smarty's are pretty much bottom range, and I was considering upgrading to something better anyway, but now I have a new pair that will last me for a while again. No need to look at competitors products then Very happy customer right here

I put the bike through it's paces at Logwood yesterday with the new pedals, and it hasn't felt this good in MONTHS! It's amazing how you don't notice the bearings packing up when you're riding regularly, because it happens over time. The bike had a full service a few weeks ago, and now with the new pedals it feels like, well, NEW! I see a pair of Candy's or MXR's in my future
Dirty Twin Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Well done Shamus. Just bought my second pair of Candy Egg Beaters so that I have them on both my bikes. Just finished putting the cleats onto my second pair of shoes. Very cool product. I just love my Candy's/Egg Beaters (Entry Level x 2)
