Shim mt200

or br200

I have no idea their product codes are so whack

BR = Brake

MT = Mountain

RD = Road

The brakes in question would be BR-MT200

Shimano is bulletproof, cant go wrong

Tektro M285 also an option. Less than 2k with rotors, take standard Shimano pads, and will last roughly 3 lifetimes. Not the most powerful things out there, but neither are the other 2 options.

If you want power on a budget, the Shimano non-series or Deore 4 pots will beat anything else.

Spot on !

I had Tectro on the commuter.  I swopped it out for entry level Shimano ... exact same feel ...

Traded up on these -

Stops on a dime :clap:  8 000 km later still VERY happy with it.
