Just thought I would update this post with battery life of my enduro 3.

charged fully on 30th August. ( 13 days ago). Very little sun for solar charging, I live in the Uk after all. I ran the pulse ox all the time for about 4 days and then just evenings for another day or 2. Then switched it off completely. I have completed about 15 hours of training in GPS mode in this period. I was also mucking about with settings etc a lot in this time bedding the unit down so to speak.

this Morning it was on 31 percent. With pulse ox off and having mucked about enough with settings I have charged it to 100 percent and will see how much longer the battery will last with normal usage of running and cycling. I anticipate 4 weeks.

Just an update on the enduro 3 battery life after using it for 2 months.

at first it was using 4 to 5 percent per day including on average 45 minutes GPS usage per day. Giving 3 to 4 weeks usage between charges.

Last week I loaded the latest firmware and the battery usage has slowed down to between 3 and 4 percent per day including 45 minutes gps usage per day. So a solid 4 weeks usage.

this is without using the pulse ox features except the odd health snapshot and very little solar charging  to speak of.

Unfortunate really, I was hoping for a few really nifty improvements so I could pick up a 2 year old 7X Pro for a steal in the classifieds.

My 5X will have to keep on keeping on for another while then I guess (not that there's anything wrong with it, just upgrade-itis).

Just bought a Fenix 5 Sapphire for next to nothing, loving the upgrade-itis effect! Seeing a few 6/7 models also going for good pricing, but the 5 pricing secondhand is too good to pass up.
