I need a PowerMeter for MTB XT setup. Options?

My stages XT crank power meter is caput. I am still on my Momsen Vipa and still happy with it. I see Stages have gone bust. And I dont see any 2nd hand Stages XT cranks for sale. Guys what are my options? I really dont like the pedal based power meters for MTB.

I have the Favero Assioma MX pedals and they are awesome. Very reliable power readings and mechanically at least as good as Shimano XT pedals if not better.

The favero look very nice and I've seen lots of positive reviews. 

Just had my 4iiii crank based warrantied (brilliant service)  and the new version is installed and working nicely. Also supports apple find my which is a great bonus feature one hopes not to have to need.

For lower price range - I'm very happy with my Sigeyi AXO.

Man says he doesn’t care for pedal based power options and first suggestion is for a pedal based pm….😂

however I agree on this suggestion. The MX gets great reviews.

 

however for an Mtb and non pedal based I would opt for the Quarq XX1 and be done with it. Expensive yes, but they work and they’re accurate, consistent and well proven.

otherwise your only other option is a 4iiii precision

Think I saw a Stages XT crank on the bargain bin table at CycleLab N1 city today… maybe call them and check if you’d like to stick with an identical replacement.
