The sworks pathfinder is 100g lighter than the tracer 50, so if that’s half a sip then your sip is 200g

Thunderoo 470g

S Works Pathfinder 435g

I’ll leave the maths to you but if you’re struggling use your phones calculator.

Geez maybe learn to read first, I'm comparing Tracer 50 and Sworks pathfinder, I've got them both and weighed them myself.

Anyways, I managed to source another thundero 48, I'll ride that rather as it's the fastest option and best of both world (although not that light at 520g (AND NOT 470G !!))

Don't mind me jumping into a handbag flinging contest, but it's pretty well known that counting the last gram on tyres means actually weighing the specific one you have in hand, and NOT going to the spec sheet. The variation between claimed weight and actual is up to 5% at times (and normally heavier).

All this talk about tire weight…, have to factor in the sealant as well. Some definitely put in more than needed. So if you topping up at 90ml.. x2. Add that extra 200gms into the equation. Just saying…🤓

You cannot be counting grams on tyres but riding a GX rear derailleur mate 😉

ahah, until last week I was running a garbaruk cage, which brought the GX to the same weight as XX1 if I'm not mistaken (or maybe half a sip). But the shifting got really *** on the 10 and 11 cog, so I ended up ditching it and putting the original cage back on and it's night and day to be honest.

Problem is, this GX is undestructible, I've been waiting for it do die but it doesn't want to. It's on its 3rd gravel frame and before that it was on my MTB.
