Dorperland MTB Challenge takes place in Kenhardt the “hart van Dorperland”. Many races claim to have the toughest terrains and highest elevations. The Dorperland MTB Challenge might not have the toughest terrains but the arid climate of the region makes this race really tough and really different from the rest.

I have written the date as 2026 a few times in the.last week. duh

Didn't know there is a 145km gravel option, I can see myself making a plan to do this one next year together with a school holiday trip to the Kalahari

This sounds an excellent notion - not been to northern cape in ages.
