I have a set of Mavic wheels and have been to 3 different stores and non of them has one specific bearing. Even contacting Mavics ex-rep was pointless. They states that the bearing in question is a 9x22x7 code no.9927. Can anybody source this or knows where to find such bearing please?

Did you contact Bearing Man, Bearings International or West Coast Bearings?

The bearing code you are looking for is 9227.  Enduro have it but not in SA.  Mavic is in the process of changing agents so not likely to be of help.

Can you re check the dimensions of the bearing or see if it has code on the seal.  The only one I am familiar with on the older Mavics is the 608 (8 x 22 x 7) but anything is possible - it's for a bicycle after all.

Received the code from Mavic 9x22x7 and code 9927. Have been to Bearing man after talking to Mack at Olympic and they state that 8x22x7 will work, so I’ll collect my wheel from Go Cycles and test fit the 8x22x7. Then if it (probably) doesn’t fit I’ll do the international spots Enduro/ Aero Agencies. Thanks 🙏🏽 🤩

The bearing 8x22x7 suggested by Olympics staffer does not fit because the axle/shaft is 9mm vs the 8mm they said would fit. So it’s to the international sites. Thanks all for your advice and suggestions
