What to do with old bike. 

 

Its still a great bike in mint condition but if you try to sell it, everybody want to rip you off.

Bikes have dismal resale values irrespective of age generally. Unless a special collectors or rare bike. 
 

only bikes I have seen appreciate are choppers funny enough.

If it's in your means to do so, donate it to someone that wants to get into cycling or if it's appropriate, donate it to a commuter, they ride around with absolute junk.
