Garmin display symbol?

Does anybody know what the symbol bottom right on my 1030 means.

It suddenly came on and I guess it could be something to do with the

battery?

Anybody experience this.  The unit still works 100%

I think it’s telling you to listen to Depeche Mode. I wouldn’t ignore it.

No, no, that symbol is for the band: Megadeath, needs more listening to whilst you are doing a HAMMER session….

Do you connect any lights or devices to it, that might be indication of that battery.

No, nothing else connected.  It just came on for no apparent reason. It still stays on when I disconnect the Varia.  It also stays on when I connect the external Varia battery.  It works fine so guess all is good.

I did Google this previously and tried it but does not do anything.  I am stumped. Just wanted to know out of interests sake.  Otherwise all works well, thanks.

@Sepia are you using a Varia front light? Could it be the medium light setting?

That is the icon for a light...I'm not sure if it applies for any generic light or just Garmia Varia lights I have the UL800 headlight and RCT 715 Rear Light/radar...but I only have the datafield active when the lights are connected.

It looks like a field on your data screen that is linked to the light but no idea why it's still displaying when the light is disconnected...do you physically switch off the light or just let it sleep via settings?......you can activate sleeping units when you start an activity and link the lights to come on at a specific speed....could be this still showing status if light is sleeping...and not hard off.

I use a separate page in my activity profile that uses a data field from IQ Connect Store written by maca88 that is pretty useful to control light settings:

If you read his GitHub site there is a way to customize the data via a light configurator...

No, not using lights.  I think this could have imbedded itself when I used an external battery?>?

I have been using this program and deleted it from the device and reloaded it.  The light/Varia is far away and after reloading, it says "No network" I can live with this and just move it onto a new screen.  Going to delete the varia and reload and see what happens
