18” tyres and tubes for a folding bike

Looking to source for a commuter who was gifted a KHS folding bike by his employers.

With no taxis in Prince Albert a bicycle to cycle to work and back is a prized possession but is worthless without tyres and tubes .

Changing to 16” or 20” won’t work due the bike having rim brakes .

The THULE store can order in... be aware, these ARE 18" in, for a S-T-R-O-L-L-E-R, just trying to help here! (Olympic could not help, but they own the nearby THULE store...)

Clyton, of THULE Claremont phoned back; R1099 incl per tire AND tube combo; very spendy, but there you go, its an option, maybe?! 3-day lead time to order in...

then, you can try CAPE MOBILITY 021 979 1652 (I cannot get thru'...)

Olympic Cycles said if you IMPORT a set, maybe import a LOT; they are needed for the THULE Strollers, since customers do not want to spend R2200 just to replace stroller tyres - and they were SERIOUS!

bliksem, maybe that was the reason it got donated!! The Thule kool-aid is strong!!
