please please please

if he rides in a bunch in the dark hours, show him how to put it in peleton mode.

yesterday morning had 2 fellow cyclists with radar lights in our bunch, it so happened that when we hit a perticularly dodgy peace of road that often gets potholes, they both landed up infront of me and at the same time a car approached from behind.

I could have done with a welding helmet to stop the blinding light, and had to ride by faith

How do one set the "" peleton mode""   ?

I do not know as I dont own such a device, but I have read in a few places that putting it in peleton mode is what you need to do to reduce the brightness when riding in groups.

To set the Garmin Varia RTL515 to Peloton mode, which uses a lower-intensity flash for group riding, access your paired Edge device or Varia app, navigate to Sensors > Lights > Network Options, set Light Mode to Individual, then select Radar and change to Peloton

In true Garmin UI fashion you have to access the radar as a light under sensors to adjust this setting...but then make other radar specific changes by accessing the radar under radar in sensors...

can you not just press the button at the top of the light for it to dim?

Long press to switch on and then another press to put into peloton mode.
