 I believe that the Zoo Lake area has been double booked on the 31st of August between our fraternity and those of the completely senseless running disposition? Is this true and if so.........

Following the resounding success of the 2007 edition, the MTN Zoo Lake Criterium will take place on 31 August at Zoo Lake, Parkview, in the north of Johannesburg.

The fullroad closure of the circuit means that the crowds and cyclists can experience the excitement of criterium racing in a safe environment. This year?s event is not a team-only event so individuals mayenter as well. A points system will be implemented to encourage inter-club participation. Each category will race for a pre-determined time plus one lap,ranging in duration from 25 to 45 minutes. The entire family can have a fun day out with lots of grandstand seating, bigscreens televising live race pictures, and plenty of entertainment for the kids. Corporate hospitality is also available for companies wanting to entertain smtaff and clients.
