Speedi Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Ok i know this is really dumb to ask, but the crank in this picture, is it 2007 DA or 2008 DA? Apparently its 07 Dura Ace, is that correct? I thought it was 2008!

ShortLegs Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 For the record, DA underwent some minor changes from initial release up till 2007. My STI's have a slightly different downshift lever but I doubt cranks would have changed because of the expense of forging them. Either way the cranks in the photo are the 7800 model.

Still in it's infancy having only just been officially released. But like cell phones/iPods/ABS/electric windows it will undoubtedly catch on and become main stream as the price comes down and the technology goes through a couple of iterations.
