I'm with the steward on this one

Kimi would have had an eye on Hammy as he turned onto the pit straight and would have lifted slightly as he had no idea where Hammy would have regained the track. This would have compromised Kimi's acceleration. Hammy on the other hand would only have to feather the throttle slightly to allow Kimi to regain the lead. But notice how quickly Hammy got back into the slipstream. I think that's where the steward gave the penalty.

My only disappointment about the whole affair is there was no message on the screen saying "car 22 under investigation"

LH gave up the advantage he got by-passing the Bus Stop chicane immediately slowing to let Raikonen retake the lead.

You'd have to look at the treatment of similar incidents to see if imposing the penalty was unfair. Maybe it's telling that the decision was made 2hrs after the end and no objections were lodged by other teams.

Willy, yes there was a message saying car 1 and 22 were under investigation. I think LH tried give KR back his position after cutting the chicane, but it wasn't enough. He should have left a full car's length.

'cause I said so,dude.

Seriuosly, great raw talent, but this makes him a little reckless. He reminds me of the late Ayrton Senna and we all know what happened to him. I think he's too impetuous and hot headed and this makes him a danger to other drivers as well as himslef.

I think he needs a few seasons to hone the skill and become a more mature driver before he becomes really great.

Still can't find a good reason why I don't like him. I just don't. At least with Alonso and Kimmi, I can say with a degree of certainty that I don't like them because of their personalities (or lack thereof), but with Hewey Hammilton, can't put my finger on it.

As for Murray Walker, he was just as vociferous about pommie drivers. The way he used to go on about poor (drama queen) Nigel Mansel, made me sick.

Brumble et al are no different. Must be a British thing what, don't you kkow oldman. Stiff upper lip, that sort of thing you know.

Anyway, Hammy is, for now, a hooglian.

OK, I'm leaving now.
