How do you use the bombs?

I'm cycling tomorrow, don't have a hand pump and now stressing about a flat type (murphy hope you are not reading this!!!).

 

How do you use the bomb? Step by step, please.

Make sure the valve is closed......screw on the bomb till you break the seal....fully open the valve on the tube and screw adapter onto valve ...slowly release the adaptor valve and it should work!! Don't hold the bomb metal casing directly with your skin or you may get stuck to it!!

 

Oh if it dosen't work for some reason don't under any circumstances look down the barrel of the adaptor whilst fiddling ........... ask E1A1 if you don't believe me!!

You screw the bomb onto the adapter (quick) then screw the adapter onto the valve (first release vat little fing on ve top of ve valve ...), now just open the air release magafter on the bomb pump and Bobs your uncle (no not you TNT1!).

 

Hows that?

 

EDIT : rather follow Dellboys advice ... seems somewhat more safety conscious van me .....

Sounds dangerous, never thought cycling would be this dangerous

Another important piece of info to help you sleep better at night, when you have finished inflating the tire, make sure all the air is out of the bomb before unscrewing it from the adapter. A mate of mine forgot to do this and his adapter exploded in his hand.

You don't have to use all of the gas either, so if you have a large bomb, simply close the valve and save the rest for a top up some other time. It sells for a crazy R65 at Westdene Cycles.
