MintSauce Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 A buddy of mine in Oz took delivery of his Pivot Mach 429 (the 29er version of the Mach 4) a few weeks ago. He is absolutely blown away by the bike. I've heard him rave about bikes before, and he has owned some beauties, but never quite like this!
Brighter-Lights Posted October 1, 2008 Author Posted October 1, 2008 10.3kg as pictured. The Pivot Mach 4 really is as fast as my HT on gravel races and a lot faster over rocks and bumps... The suspension feels firm, almost like it's a 50mm travel bike, but after every ride the indicator o-ring on the shock shows that I used all 100mm. What I love is that the suspension feels active, and that it doesn't bob when I up the power.
Loon Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Looks like a mixture, giant anth swing arm, new spez seat stay and link and a S. Cruz Blur shock mount position... Suppose a misture of all the best makes it... :-) Red bits are cool but you need to chat to Token for some red spokes now...

I am actually astonished that you can post such absolute rubbish. Your reputation is clearly on the line. Being the nice guy I am I can help you out.
