well, sunday's ride was over kinda before it started! before the start, ianj noticed my front tyre seemed a little flat. as i'd pumped it to two bar, i thought it was soft/hard enough. wrong! into the first turn after the start i felt if folding underneath me on the tar, so i peeled off into the afridome at the first right turn, and tossed the joe's rim tape and put a tube in! managed to catch the back markers as the tar gave way to dirt, but flatted again when i hit a rut in the dirt road, and went down kinda hard. am missing a bit of skin from my left hip. am eina and annoyed. i wonder if the beer hall is open?   smiley19.gif smiley19.gif smiley19.gif smiley19.gif smiley19.gif

Is your new bike still in one piece?

I know it doesn't make up for the lack of beer but for what it's worth... Hug

Did both rides.

56 km today was a blast, took it easy for the 1st half, and then raced the 2nd.  Being a roadie, I am happy with my 2:15. My Epic training is to schedule.

Sorry to hear about the bike holy!!  Next time will be better.

Hard luck!

Overall 56km was good fun.

Lots of room to pass. Quick flowing race.

Any one else who did 56 today?

The 56km was very very boring... :-(

The guys who did the 101km... (or 105km as to my polar). Will know what I am talking about... 101 was FUN!!!!

At least Holly finished. Saw him come in as I was driving out of the parking. At least I think it was him ;-) Only 29er ridge mad enough to ride that rutted road... Thumbs%20Up
