The race is extremely challenging nonetheless, and we have seen many a racer at the end of the race say ?never again?, with frost bitten skin on their knuckles. The race is 84,4km long and takes the rider on a spectacular journey up the scenic Naudes Nek Pass 8700ft. above sea level. The cyclists then push on to the top of the world - 3km through Lesotho and on down past the Tiffindell Ski Resort and down to Rhodes. A magnificent waterfall can be seen on the route amidst the awesome mountain range that we have here.
