WE had this funny noise on the tandem whilst standing and pedalling untill I realised it was EM grinding on her teeth. I am now used to that sound.

Bottom Bracket noise is my gambit - What type and how long since your BB was serviced?

Also try some lube (spray n cook works for troubleshooting purposes) on your pedal / cleat interface, check the seat post is clean and lubed (portion that is hidden!!), same for the seat rails clean and light lube.

Ear plugs or mp3Wink

This actually happend to me onceEmbarrassed Spent a lot of time trying to work out the noise cause.

Another funny clunk when pedaling is caused by a pump that?s brushing the crankarm on each pedal stroke (usually it?s the head of the pump because it protrudes a bit). Pumps are often made of plastic so you might not think it can cause a noise, but it can.
Solution:
Simply reposition the pump so there?s more clearance.

hey i'm using.....of course campy....but it won't be that.

HmmmWrong

I had campy chorus (2001 internal bb) on my old bike and to this day it clicks / creaks. Only stops if I lube the threads but soon starts after couple 100 km's

Suppose it's the frames fault tho....Wink
